The score is the average of whichever signals returned data — none of them is treated as authoritative on its own, and a signal that can't be measured is left out rather than counted as zero.
Rising and declining compare this week against the last, using only the signals present in both weeks, so a topic doesn't appear to move just because a new signal started reporting.
Movement needs a change of at least 25% to register. Smaller drifts are normal week-to-week fluctuation and are shown as stable.
Everything is a directional read on attention and demand, not a verdict on whether a technology is any good.
